Artes - Center of Performing Arts

Artes will be a center for the enhancement, dissemination and learning of the performing arts and more broadly a collector of society and aggregation.

OUR VISION

We believe art is an essential part of life.

Art reflects and informs the world...above all, it can and must be accessible to all.

We rely on artists to answer the most basic aspects of the human experience and the larger social issues facing our communities.

They hold a mirror to our thoughts, emotions, systems and cultures as they prompt us to question what is and imagine what could be.

As we work towards a better future, we look to the arts to bridge political, cultural and geographic divides, encourage diverse viewpoints and celebrate differences.

Mantua City Centre

ARTES will occupy an area of 11,000 m2 in the heart of Mantua, a few steps from the lakes and the port, in a scenographic context between the warm colors of medieval bricks and the green nature of the lake.

ARTES will host a Concert Hall with a restaurant, the Academy, an Art Gallery Exhibition Space, a Creative Lab, a Concept Store, an Amphitheater at the Park, a Bar/Bistrot.

CONCERT HALL

More than a thousand seats arranged on different levels and configurable according to the event, conceived and designed with priority on visibility and acoustics in order to enjoy the dreams, surprises and ingenious displays of the artists from every angle stage.

The concert hall will be the flagship of ARTES.

It will also be possible to dine or enjoy a drink during the shows thanks to a restaurant integrated into the structure.

Restaurant

We want to give our clients the opportunity to take home the happy memory of an evening enlivened by the local gastronomy, perhaps refreshed or combined with the touch of an international "fusion" of tastes.

Offering our audience a place where they can enjoy the combination of excellent music and good food will be of primary importance for us.

Academy

The Academy will be the heart of ArteS. It will hold workshops and seminars on music, theatre, dance, storytelling, cinema, photography and painting. Among dedicated and multifunctional classrooms, artists and scholars will be able to practice and perfect their art guided by high-level and international professionals.

Gallery

A flexible and multiform place, the exhibition space will be dedicated to temporary exhibitions and installations, organized according to an annual calendar.

Different types of artistic expression will be represented in rotation, according to itineraries designed for a modern and dynamic use of artistic expressions.

Amphitheater

Designed for summer evenings, the amphitheater will be the ideal place for shows, performances and open-air concerts.

Immersed within the view of the ArteS Park, the stepped amphitheater is inspired by classical Greek and Roman structures and will be the open-air twin of the Concert Hall.

Park

A walk in the ArteS park will be the best way both to relax and to move from one environment to another. The paths in the shade of the trees will favor recreation and socialization in a context where antiquity, modernity and nature meet in harmony. Open and accessible to the public, the park will be a small green lung in the heart of Mantua.

Bistrot

Where to have a quick meal, enjoy a tea or an ice cream, if not at the bistro in the ArteS park? Accessible to everyone, even to those who just want to enjoy the park, the bistro will offer gastronomy in the best European tradition with part of the tables outdoors and part in a sheltered area.

Concept store

A treasure trove of trends, novelties and ideas, the ArteS concept store will offer a selection of the best international gift ideas and souvenirs at 360°.
